Last week, the 2nd year students along with tutors Julie & Gail, arrived in New York for a week-long study trip – we visited some fabulous companies and met some pretty fabulous people too!
We visited Anomaly, where Creative, Mike and Creative Recruiter, Jenna, showed us their amazing office space and then mike talked and held a workshop for us. The winning team were Klaudia and Viki – who will be mentored for the next year by Mike- well done!

Mike and Jenna – thank you, both!
Stink Studios in deepest Brooklyn, shared with us their work – showing students how Creative Content offers another area where their future could lie. Creative Director, Shaun, MD, Dan and Creative, Mandy shared their life experiences and what it takes to get into one of the top companies creating film, interactive and original content for clients across advertising, entertainment, music and the arts.
The Brooklyn Brothers was another hit – with Account Director, Natasha and Creative, John, showed the students the award-winning agency work and discussed what it was like starting up as a British-led company in New York .

The students join in…
Spotify Creative Director, Rajeev, and creatives Erik and Alexandra – showed us some amazing work and told us what it was like working in-house for the most popular music streaming platform in the world – and how to get there!
Foyer of the news Building – wow!
Rapp – is situated in the amazing News building (where Superman was filmed). Creative Directors, Lucas and Frank, talked to us about creativity within data-run marketing and CCO, Moa, shared with us his presentation and experiences at the South by South-West festival in Austin, Texas – sounds as though we should try and get there too!
Alas, we got snowed off one day, when a massive snowstorm hit New York – so our visits to Sparks and Honey, Exposure and Strawberry Frog were cancelled – so whilst the students made the most of the snow in Central Park, Gail and Julie hit Bloomingdales!
