2nd years get lucky at Lucky Generals

Last week the second years were invited to Lucky Generals’ London offices to present their viral films.

At the workshop organised by senior creative, Eddie Fisher, everyone had the chance to watch each video and receive feedback on where to take it further. Congratulations to Luke and Remi on gaining the most views and George and Lydia for the best creative concept. A big thank you to Eddie – and we love your new offices!

Thanks Eddie!

Lucky Generals get 2nd years thinking…

Second years have been getting stuck into a brief set by senior creative,Eddie Fisher, at Lucky Generals. Aiming is to get as many views as possible. After hours of brainstorming the best and possibly the quickest way of getting popular, it seems we have all gone down different routes. Here are a few shots from behind the scenes of the students filming. I wonder if these give you any insights into what topic they have each student has chosen?

Agencies, tea and writing…

The second years have been up to a lot since they begun the year! Now they enter the world of agencies and briefs galore, and they’ve already impressed a few!
A huge thank you to Ben Stump at Isobel for giving our second years their first agency crit of the year, and a huge congratulations to Helen and Remi for winning!
They have so much fun working on the Rich Tea brief, and a lot of fun eating biscuits – I mean – researching biscuits!
Alongside that, Eddie Fisher at Lucky Generals have set them a brief and they’re busily working away on that too! It’s fair to say they’ve taken to briefs like Ducks on water!
One of our new tutors, Andy Imrie, has also been challenging them on the writing skills by writing their own obituaries!
Let’s hope they don’t plan on using them any time soon!

The lovely Eddie Fisher, senior creative at Luck Generals, is running a month-long workshop for the 3rd year students. Jul;ie, who taught Eddie at Bucks in the early noughties, escorted the third yesars to the first workshop last week – which focused on idea generation for the D&AD and YCN student competitions. Fingers crossed they come up with some fab work. Once again, thanks Eddie!

More of Class of ’14 get great jobs!

A round of applause for Tom & Morgan – hired at WCRS

“From day one they let us get stuck into big TV briefs and pitches, we had to do the smaller stuff aswell but it was a great opportunity. We got loads of stuff through on the McCain pitch which we lost to Adam & Eve and managed to get even more through on another pitch which is yet to come back. And the work we did on those is what got us hired. It meant giving up a months worth of weekends and some nights we didn’t leave until 1am but we’ve still loved every second.’

The ‘Sophs’ aka Sophie and Sophia – hired at Iris, congrats girls!
